CONDITIONS
SUN DAMAGE
EXAMPLE
WHAT IS IT:
Changes in the skin that occur in response to being exposed to light and include open pores, wrinkles, sagging, dull, thick, leathery or crepey skin, uneven pigmentation, broken capillaries, elastosis and skin cancer.
Even though exposure to parts of the light spectrum enables us to manufacture Vitamin D, some produces a massive increase in eroding free radicals and inflammation, causes DNA damage and mutations and suppresses the immune system. This can cause changes in different aspects of the skins functioning and health with DNA mutations even potentially resulting in skin cancer.
